What We Believe

We believe in one, true, living God. The creator of all things. Eternal, incomprehensible, immutable, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, infinite, almighty, perfectly wise, just, good, immense, holy, absolute, righteous, loving, gracious, merciful, long-suffering, true, forgiving.

We believe this God is triune. In the Old Testament God is known as YHWH. In the New Testament we see the tree persons of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They are of one substance, power, and eternality. They are one God in three distinct and individual persons, and each being fully God. This is a paradox and can never be explained away.

We believe in God the Father. The invisible, eternal, unbegotten Father.

We believe in God the Son. Fully human and fully divine. The only begotten of the Father, not created or less eternal but of the one substance with the Father. The express image of the Father. The Word of God. Jesus Christ.

We believe in His saving work on the cross. Jesus came to earth, born to a virgin as a child, lived a life as a man, ministered in the Spirit, went freely to the cross, was crucified, died, was buried, rose again on the third day, ascended into Heaven, sits at the right hand of the Father, will return again in his glory, to judge the living and the dead, and whose kingdom will never end.

We believe in God the Holy Spirit. The Lord and Giver of life; who proceedeth from the Father; who with the Father and the Son together is worshipped and glorified; who spake by the prophets.

We believe that man was created in the image of God by God but has fallen and is sinful and deserving of death. But the work done by Christ on the cross bring us into salvation through his blood he freely spilled.

We believe one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. AMEN.
