The One Ruining Israel
What does it mean to follow God's call in YOUR life? This week we explored the powerful story of Elijah and Obadiah from 1 Kings 18—two men, two different callings, both faithfully serving the Lord.
Elijah confronted the wicked King Ahab head-on, speaking truth to power. Obadiah worked quietly in Ahab's palace, risking his life to save 100 prophets. Both were exactly where God called them to be. Your calling might look like Elijah's bold proclamation or Obadiah's hidden faithfulness—but it's equally valuable to the body of Christ.
Before we point out the sins of others, we must ruthlessly kill sin in our own lives first. Then we can step confidently into whatever God has called us to do, trusting that "as the Lord of armies lives, in whose presence I stand," He will guide our steps.
Are you listening for His call? Are you ready to obey without wavering?
